1. How do I get started?
Read the DFD Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Sign Up: Fill out a brief online registration form. You will receive an email from us informing you of critical information, which includes how to log into your DFD Affiliate Control Panel. Once you have logged into your DFD Affiliate Control Panel you can begin placing banners and links on your site.

Start Earning Referral Fees.
You'll automatically be eligible to earn referral fees for sales generated by your links once your site has been approved. You'll always have access to your earnings and traffic reports through our DFD Affiliate Control Panel. The reports will show you what your visitors are buying, how much they are buying, and what your earnings are on those purchases. Referral fees are paid at the end of each month.

2. Does it cost anything to become an Affiliate?
No, there are no fees of any kind for applying to and participating in the DFD Affiliate Program. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement or sales quota you must reach before earning referral fees with our program. You start earning right away.

3. Does my Web site qualify for the DFD Affiliate Program?
Most Web sites will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject Web sites that we determine are unsuitable. Examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:

• Promote sexually explicit materials;
  
• Promote violence;
  
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
  
• Promote illegal activities;
  
• Incorporate any materials that infringe or assist others to infringe on any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
  
• If we reject your application, you are welcome to reapply to the Affiliate Program at any time. We will review your application again at that time.

4. How should I design my Web site?
Every Affiliate site is unique, and we don't provide any kind of standard template for you to start with. That's because in almost every case, successful affiliates will have a pre-existing Web site or idea for a Web site in mind when they join the program. You should try to make your recommendations or links to DFD look and feel like the rest of your site. If you don't yet have a Web site, your options are endless and we encourage you to give the site its own unique personality. We'll give you many suggestions and tips on effective ways to earn referral fees from your Web site.

5. I don't know how to write HTML or use my site development tool. Will DFD help me?
We recommend that if you do not understand how to add our banners or links to your site, you should consult with your Webmaster or site designer. Basically, you should copy our banner or link code into the location you desire in the HTML of your Web page using Notepad or some other HTML editor. There are many great sites out there that offer tutorials and basic HTML help. You can begin at this Yahoo category.

7. I have more than one URL. Can I register all of them as DFD Affiliates?
You can sign up once for all of your URLs. Simply use the code we give you once you have signed up.

8. Can a nonprofit organization join the Affiliate Program?
Yes, we encourage nonprofit organizations to join our program.

9. How much does DFD pay me in referral fees?
You'll be paid 25% on all orders placed by a customer who was referred by your site for a minimum of 6 months after your link to us has been clicked. Each sale of a 'Featured Property Listing' will generate approximately $59.80.

10. What services earn commissions?

• Text Only Listings - Earn 10% of the current $99 price.
  
• Featured Listings - Earn 20% of the current $299 price.
  

11. When and how do I get paid?
We pay monthly! - We send you a check for the commissions you've earned and we pay on time.

12. How does DFD track orders coming from my Web site?
We assign you an ID that is included in your link code provided in the DFD Affiliate Control Panel. Once a user has clicked on your link, we place a "cookie" on the users computer. When the user places an order via our online order form, the order form sees the "cookie" and credits you with the sale.

13. Does DFD have an online reporting feature so that I can keep track of my earnings and traffic?
Yes, once you've been accepted into the program, you will have access to our Affiliate Control Panel. There, you'll be able to view your earnings and traffic reports at any time.
